Crabtree Falls, North Carolina

Crabtree fall in North Carolina is a 70 ft fall spread over a rock with many small ledges that gives the fall a delicate appearance. there is a trail located at the Crabtree Meadows on the Blue ridge Parkway. there are hardly any crabtrees now but in spring the area is full of wildflowers and by July ferns fills the forest and you can smell the spray of fall around. the parking Area is closed in the off season so you may have to park outside the gate and walk some extra miles. It is very beautiful and very popular fall so plan on going early in the morning for the best photography.
