Columbia River Gorge: Oregon

The Columbia River Gorge is the largest river in North America and the fourth largest in America that flows  from rocky mountains to British Columbia that includes territory in seven states. It has the greatest flow any American river falling in Pacific Ocean.In 1916, the government built the highway that now allows tourists and travelers to take in the beautiful scenery and waterfalls. The best time to visit is during the spring.
